  2. The standard dose only keeps my dog with low enough pain to not whine for 4hrs(plus 2hours for the aspirin to take effect), so that leaves 6-8hours of pain.
This has only been a 48hr thing,he has gotten along fine with just CBD for years(with a occasional small 2mg per pound aspirin on a bad night). I am going to try to get him into the vet today but he is sucking.

  4. You are so awesome. Everywhere says..no, do not give your dog otc people pain relievers! Thank you for setting it straight. That aspirin is ok if given carefully. As I always say, we need more vets like you in the US! 😁

  5. Thanks for the information and clearing up the idea of using aspirin for dogs. I have been using hemp based product from petco. My dog loves it he is 12 years old mixed Shepherd breed. So he is medium size dog with a ton of hair lol. But he has been ill for a while with a few things. His sister has cancer of her bones. My dog has a few warts on his body and big lumps around his chest area. I know I need to take him to be looked over by a vet. I am working on that. Saving up money as we speak. Anyways I love watching your channel you give out great information about other alternatives for your pets and I love that.

  6. Thank you, Dr. Jones. As always you give me hope. Have an aging Lab who needs pain relief. The Medicam made him jumpy and it is quite expensive. I would rather give him a supplement; and did find one that helps. But, I can tell he is compromised and now at age 7 …… perhaps I can give an aspirin to him along with the supplement. Greenlipped Mussel and Chondrotin; MSM, etc.. You know how Labs are. they will play till they drop. I monitor him. He is too precious and I want him to have every advantage ….. the info you shared about not using the coated aspirin. Thanks. Be Well. God Bless. Larna in Norridge, Illinois
