  1. My pets never go to the vet unless its a necessary thing. Always do the shots, worming etc myself. Of course, I live in a state where I can legally give rabies vaccine, and have a farm so meds are avail. But feeding them good food, and yes OTC things for small problems help. Have done all my life. Not necessary for monthly checkups and nonsense that some vets push.
There are charities that help out with shots, spay and neutter. You have to check and be patient with the process.

  2. Doctor Jones, you and your family are living saints.

There will always be people who criticize, but HOW are THEY contributing?

I live on the other side of the world, but it is so uplifting to know that you and your beloved family are out there helping people who literally have nowhere to turn in the event of an emergency.

Thank you for the countless lives you are saving; and for the indescribable joy you will all bring to pet owners who, without you and your amazing family, would be forced to face the heartbreaking decision of having to let go and abandon their potentially terminal, pets.

  3. I don’t understand why all of a sudden vets are charging so much?!! Also I’ve gone to two vet offices, they don’t have a regular vet that works there. They have these vets that offer to come in occasionally! You never get the same vet twice! What’s going on? Why aren’t vet’s hired to work in same place?

  4. Just beginning this video… please tell us a natural antibiotic. I’m feeling desperate because my dog has an infection, I can smell it. She stares at me for help. I have taken her to numerous vets and they will NOT RX antibiotics. I have another dog that went through this and none of our local vets found the problem or had any faith in my reporting infection. She ended up in a dramatic and traumatic intense surgery losing ALL her teeth and a lot of bone!!! I had to take her out of town for this, 7K$ later and it could have been caught sooner and minimized at least her suffering for so long. With this other dog, same thing, I’m certain it’s oral, maybe dental, but could be other. I spent $800 to have her teeth cleaned and they didn’t look any cleaner post supposed cleaning, as the morning I took her in. I don’t want her to suffer like my other one. Please tell me some options? Btw, I only adopt dogs that have been through hell, so they come with health issues, but I need vets that will be thorough and would be nice if they showed faith and appreciation for my profound concerns. Why not err on the side of caution? Cruel…

  5. It’s my dream to win big on the euro lottery and set up a vets where people can come and get their pets treated for cost price or even free. I’m trying to look after a lot of feral cats, it’s stressful to say the least and no charities want to help. When you see the RSPCA on TV it’s not the truth, that’s all a show for donations I believe.

  6. Love all the info about home remedies…i have 3 labs, one is 3 and started having seizures when he was 1, he get cluster seizures that last anywhere from 3 to 5 days, every couple of hours, at times….so its very hard on him and very terrible to watch on me, he is currently on 3 medications, 1 gram of phenobarbital every 12 hours, Keppra Regular 1000mil every 8 hours, and potassium bromide 2mg every 12 hours , his last seizure was on Christmas day, thankfully it was only 1, they only last about 1 minute…before that it was july 12th…. so we pretty much have them under control with all the meds, we order them thru a pharmacy with Good RX which keeps the cost down thankfully…we also give him Valarian root in the morning CBD drops in the afternoon, and malatonin at night. Our Vet Dr Lawrence Reed is amazing he has been our vet for over 30 years, he doesn't charge me at all when these seizures occur and i get frightened and need to bring him in, we adjust his meds by double ing the keppra for a short time so stop the seizures … do you know anything else that can help with idiopathic seizures? We think the heat has alot to do with bringing them on, he mostly gets them in the warmer months, it was 61 on christmas day and we think he got overheated paying fetch. Any info will be appreciated…

  7. Veterinarians are just like lawyers and other sharks. They are not there for the best interest of the pets, they are there for their pockets. My dog died because I couldn’t afford the neurologist vet. General vet charges me 1k for X-ray and blood work, plus $150 visit fee and medication. Found out nothing other than a possible tumor in the brain and if I went for neurological work he said it would be very expensive. She was as sweet as pie and loyal. Read the ingredients in dog food and treat many have cancerous causing poison. It’s all about pharmaceuticals $$$, not getting people or pets well. Watch what you eat and what your dogs eat. I make my pets their food now. Hope to have the rest to live longer. Lesson learned for the life of my wonderful Kaya. Thank you for all your informative info. I go to your videos r”for help all the time.

  8. So Grateful for your videos✨❤️✨. I had Bichon I purchased at retirement and I had never experienced the loyalty and Love. She passed away and I was so worried about her if I went first. I was always concerned of the powerful chemicals in monthly flea 💧. And I just want you and everyone to beware this veterinary Veterinarian channel is well worth watching and to the point of study for the longest lasting ❤ possible for any pet owner.

    Sincerely Grateful, Howard Buskirk ✨❤️✨

  9. My dog has been struggling with a urinary tract infection for a gew months. Every urine sample recheck is $200 (and that is with a technician collecting urine, we have no contact with the veterinarian at all) and then another $300 for a culture and sensitivity. Just the test…no interaction with a veterinarian. The clinic no longer does any bloodwork or urine tests in house… everything is sent out to a lab and takes days to get results. I've actually considered moving to a third world country because i just cant afford human or veterinary care here in the USA anymore 😥.
