Hi Dr. At the moment I have. Anomaly ( it's Almond oil & Rosehip oil ) it's an all natural product made in the USA. I use it in my hair and Skin and have put it on a q tip for my ears as well. But want to make sure. Thank You.
Hi Doc. My 7 months kitten had ear mites and fungal infection . I got drops to use for 14 days. No mites but fungal infection came back so my vet said it is allergy and we are treating my cat with very expensive fluid. What would you recommend for fungal infection? Thank you
I seen you at the beginning of this video you was with a big black dog rubbing his hind leg what was you doing to him cuz my dog is hurt his leg and my vet cannot seem to figure out what's wrong with him. He lumps he favors it when I rub on his leg it seems to click at his knee.
It’s official that my cat has ear mites but I can’t afford for the vet neither for the check and I tried some medicines and it just won’t help he’ll still scratch his ear all day and all night bc the ear mites are DEEP in there
So the ear mites are dead. How do I get the dead ones out of my cat’s ears? I’m afraid I’ll hurt my cat with a qtip. Cotton balls don’t go deep enough. Should I spray out his ears with water while giving him a bath? The oil got on his fur around his ears and made him dirty.
But then how to clean that excess oil in the ear? My cat won't allow me to touch it, will the oil clear itself with time? i can somehow put few drop of oil with the help of dropper.. but then don't know how to clean them
My cat won’t let me end this ears. Whenever I even you. Then he shakes and does a runner. I can pin him down, but I don’t want to distress him too much! Any tips?:(
I will try these. I have tried the baby oil with mild success. The over the counter stuff have not worked. I have a hard time getting mites and ear infections under control. 2 cats with chronic ear mites dispute treating everyone at the same time. And a dog with chronic ear infection assume since her ears are red, drain all the time a yellowish brown. But have treated for ear mites and infection.
New subscriber after watching this one video. Thank you Dr. Jones. Taking your advise. Two furkids with what I believe to be mites. They've also been scratching under the chin however. Wondering if mites travel around and about their heads, not just in the ears.
Hi, I learned a top natural remedy for ear mites in your cat’s ears is garlic and olive oil. Both of these ingredients have anti-inflammatory properties which can help alleviate your cat’s symptoms! Would you like to know how to use it or apply it to your cat?
Hi there! I am wondering how to clean the excessive oil off of my cat's ear? I tried to drip oil in her ear but she shake her ear so much the oil go everywhere, then she kept scratch her ears and lots of fur came off. I thought it would dry up with time but after a night, she still looks like a wet dog. is it safe to use dish detergent to get the oil out of her fur?
I won't suggest this if the cat ears turned red. I tried coconut oil but my cat ears didn't improve. Her ears are red and we went vet. I told him I use coconut oil but it didn't improve. He prescribed antibiotics and also steroid and ear drops. If your cat's ears turn red ,please stop I still appreciate this video but will be better if Dr Andrews touch more on when to see the vet when natural remedies didn't improve the symptoms. I still like Dr Andrew videos. There is pus and swelling and coconut oil when he showed me via the earscope. Inflammation. My cat has allergy issues. We have to standby cetrizine HCI for her eyes redness. Will appreciate if Dr Andrews combined meds and natural remedies. And when to go to vet when natural help fails I still support Dr andrews Just some input. Still love ur videos
Thanks! I have baby oil and coconut oil at home. I will definitely try with my cat who is the only one out of 4 pets who constantly have black ears, yuk
I had a remedy my friend told me about it was half a hole & something else I can't remember have you heard of this before ??? I have a main coon cat & he never goes outside but his ears stay black with ear mites I was to kill them for good can you help ??? From Florida
Thank you thank you! We went with the 3rd remedy… we will try it on Missy, Pepperoni, an Kallie they all started getting their ears messed up by over scratching and paws digging inside ears.. we know now how to handle this situation.. thanks Doc!!
THIS TREATMENT WORKS! Day 6 of using this treatment and my cat’s ears are waaaayyy better now. No more scratching! I used virgin coconut oil for the first 3 days while waiting for my order of sweet almond oil to arrive. I clean her ears with a q tip with coconut/ sweet almond oil before adding 3-4 drops afterwards. First 3 days, the gunk from her ear really came out and I’m using 6-8 q tips just to clean it. Now, I’m done with just 2 q tips. I applied only once a day. Will follow through with the treatment plan for the next 14 days!
Thanks a lot for the information, you've been so helpful
