  2. Thank you so much. I have a 14 year old Yorkie. Took him to the vet 2 days ago. She said he had beginning signs of Dementia. THAT'S IT. Nooo advice, nooo medication. Just give him the CBD that I give him at night.

  3. What is your opinion of Melatonin for a 12 year old. He has been having anxiety and can’t seem to relax at times and needs someone to literally sleep with him. He is currently on T- relief for hip dysphasia and arthritis. He also takes supplements and coconut oil for his bowel movements. He weighs about 100lbs and is a large frame Pointer. In fact some people mistake him for a Wolfhound.

Was wondering if you recommend Melatonin and how much, should it be used only when he is have a case of anxiety, or is this something that needs to be taken daily?
    Thank you,

  4. @veterinary secrets Dear Dr. Jones I have a 13-year-old small Yorkie Maltese mix who seems like may have some signs of cognitive dysfunction. He has had arthritis for a while and recently injured his back leg. As per your advice, we have avoided surgery for his leg but he doesn't seem quite the same. He has been disinterested in toys for a while, doesn't play as much. Recently he has started pacing at night. He still eats very well and does like to go for walks. His vet thought maybe he had chronic pain and prescribed some painkillers and anti-inflammatory meds. I wanted to know your opinion on Senlife dog supplement. It is supposed to help cognitive and brain function. If it is not dementia is it still okay to give him such a supplement? Also I wanted to purchase your advanced care supplement and wanted to find out if I would need to add on a joint supplement with your advanced gear supplement? I am desperate for your input and feedback

  5. Hi I have a question please respond if you can! I give my cat a supplement called cosequine, my vet advised I give it to my cat to keep her joints healthy and I’ve been giving it to her for a couple years now. Do you think this is enough or should I be giving her more? She’s 11 years old with kidney and heart disease (we give her subaqueous fluids and blood pressure meds which work great for her) and we found evidence of a little arthritis in her lower spine. Thank you so much!

  6. My small. dachshund, age 14, is in end stage kidney failure. Dx about three mo

ago. I started her on CBD oil just because and she is still with us. The vets thought she would die quickly when she was diagnosed. My question for you is this: is CBD oil, in your opinion as I think there have not yet been studies, safe to use with cats? My 19 year old indoor kitty has hyperthyroid and takes methamizol for about 4 years now. She has had normal T4 twice a year on her dose. Still, she has begun to cry out a lot, and stays skinny even though she eats a lot. Vet examined her and she has very bad arthritis especially in her right front shoulder. The CBD company I buy from, Charlottes Web, customer service, told me not recommended to give CBD to cats as they can “react strangely” to it and no two cats react the same to it. I think it may help her, if she has terrible pain or if it’s dementia. What do,you think please? In one video of yours you seem to recommend it for cats and dogs but don’t say those words specifically. Thanks, Val and her babies on cape cod

  7. I like your video's! I was wondering if you have any remedies for post nasal drip?My dog has alot of watery clear mucus in nose and runs down his throat.I'm at a loss to help him.I have tried steam, antibiotics, apple cider vinegar and nothing seems to help.I want to help my 17 year old dog and make him comfortable.Do you have a remedy that may help? Thank you! It'sinuses or rhinitis

  8. Learning that more and more, what is good for people, is also good for dogs; maybe not so much for cats. ie Curcumin has helped me with my arthritis; I feel my energy level is up. My two dogs; Max and Gretta girl love it sprinkled on their food; mixed with warm water. Now, on this video I learned that it is helpful with possible dementia. Very well received info. Thank you.

  9. I order & give Molly your product. She just turned 13 and her hips are getting bad so is that enough or do I need to give her additional meds or supplements? & I’m still waiting on the grass eating video. Molly ate quite a bit of grass yesterday & today and it made us so nervous since she had emergency surgery to remove a ball of grass that didn’t digest. How can we stop her from this? She only eats grass when something is upsetting her stomach & I give her a Pepcid AC every morning.

  10. I've added circumen in varying doses (largest dose was half a tsp, the other was even less) a few times for my 13.5 yr old lab (90 pounds) adding it into his tripe. It may be a coincidence but each time he's had an upset stomach after that meal (which is a rare occurrence). Have you come across this before from circumen?

  11. For two years now, our dog growls and barks every few minutes. If we move in our sleep, if everything is quiet, it doesn’t seem to have a specific reason. Whether he’s awake or asleep, he does it. We're exhausted from being woke up so many times in the night. The vet says some dogs just do that 😐 I’m wondering if he’s in pain somehow, or it’s aging. He’s 13, so it started at 11. Any help, or ideas?

  12. My Springer Spaniel is nearly 12 always wants a walk but his eye sight is going and when he is asleep and I call him or pet him he wakes disorientated and grumpy. He has bitten me twice recently. He was my ex partners dog but he died in August aged 42. They went everywhere together. He is hardwork but I would never let him down I just worry about him. After walks he is really stiff but he dosnt like being on the lead and I'm lucky I live in the country by the coast. My own dog gets fed up with him when he is being aggressive. I have just found your channel and I'm binge watching when I can.

  13. Dr Jones. I am applying topical on Lucy’s knees CBD oil from “ love grass “ brand . It’s Pure cold pressed with coconut oil. Question do I get the same result if I apply topical or it better orally administrate?

  14. Oh Dr. Jones! As per usual your suggestions are always the greatest. My 15-year old Standard Poodle Pharaoh has been on CBD since he was 11. I increased his dose to 535mg/day and he's STILL kicking butt! He's got some cognitive issues, but mostly pain. I wonder if you could link (again) to what's best for allergies. My sister owns a "Bully Breed" who, because of his English Bulldog genes and white hair has relentless problems with his skin because of allergies. Thanks again Dr. Jones! You're the best…

  15. Thanks Doc ,such informative videos all of them and your presentation is perfect. oh by the way I tried the gland demonstration I watch due to smelly invisible discharge from my 9 yr old. Doc it worked and am so grateful you are amazing keep doing what you do best. Are there any omegas that you personally recommend?

  16. I can't say enough good things about your channel. About 6 months ago I saw video on how to help my dog that was having seizures when he turned 13 in April. From April to August they were bad and had no pattern. I followed each suggestion you made with diet, MCT oil, and CBD oil. And here it is from August to February and not one seizure!! I'm face with finding out now if he had chronic pain or canine cognitive dysfunction because he seems lost

  17. Our previous dog, a black lab, started shivering in the last 2 months of his life. Since it was February and March, we thought he was cold since he was 11 years old and not as active anymore. As it turns out, this was how he displayed his pain instead of whining or yelping. Very soon after, we found out he had a massive tumor growing in between his ribs and spine. 🙁

  18. Thank you for your information! Do you know if you can give cats the enzyme Serrapeptase. Is it safe for cats ? This enzyme is helpful with inflammation, pain, scar tissue, and chronic sinus issues. Thank you for your response. My cat has a chronic stuffy nose. The vet feels it maybe autoimmune issues. We've done antibiotics anti-viral and I nebulize colloidal silver for him for the last two months.

  19. Ive been trying to figure out mine, shes about 7 and half but just something not right. Im on very fixed income and just thinking about ordering your vitamine thts got all good in it. Shes so set in her ways i couldnt sprinkle on food tho but could put in a pill. Thxs doc

  20. Love your insightful videos. I have several rescue dogs ages 9 – 12 years of age. They are showing signs of cataracts. What can you suggest the dissolve the cataracts via natural method? Blessings to you and your family.

  21. This is all pretty normal when you have a Basset Hound! He goes with the seasons! Winter.. hes more active. Spring or summer or fall.. if its above 50 and sunny… forget it. Hes sunbathing or just "derrr" sitting there looking at NOTHING! My basset has been doing this since I had him at 11 months adopted!
