I tried this and the written recipe has a couple of errors! You should bake the rice puffs BEFORE shaping, and you should NOT let the ganache cool before pouring onto the cake. Just follow the video instead of the written recipe linked!!
This man is so humble and gentle. My friends went to NYC and made it a point to go to his bakery. Just because they love his character. Said his employees reflected that. Totally different experience from those (insert appropriate word) at Milk Bar.
I made this with the help of my mother for Fathers Day (my Dad loves peanut butter and chocolate together) and it was great, not overly sweet but rich and delicious.
There used to be this Norwegian tv-chef who always said "now we'll cheat a littlle" when presenting the finished product, because of cooking time etc. This guy obviously must have done that or he would be eating frozen cake.
Ciao sono Simone voglio amicizia perché bravo ragazzo
I just made this and it looks beautiful.

For those who have made this, is it overly sweet? The absence of salt in desserts always scares me a lil
use gluten free rice crispies instead…then it's gluten free…going to make this for a girl at work for her birthday cake
How tall is the cake ring? It looks shorter than the typical 3".
I love his book I use it all the time.
One thing a German baking show has tought me: when your ganache isn't smooth use a hand blender so you don't have to waste some delicious chocolate 😉
Corn syrup ! 😀😀 No thanks, and not going to buy your cookbook that kills bees as well as causing cancer and type 2 diabeties.
Thanks for the recipe 🙂 I was able to make for my husband's birthday
"it give me anxiety" – typical VICE employee
Very good chief 👍🌹
Awesome! What is the height of the cake ring?
May i know is there any alternative or substitution for the peanut butter paste?
Where is the link to click on the recipe !
Nice
Is there a replacement for corn syrup ?
Yummyyy
microwave chocolate ? and then heat your ganache on a heating plate ? how ? If I try it, i'll burn my chocolate.
Wohhhhhhh wonderful
I like how he says, I've done this a few times 😂 sure it's more like a million times.
Mine didn't look anything like that
Can you please make the recipe a printer friendly option?
Follow the video not the recipe, tons of things out of order
sh1t i cant understand him but it looks good.

Professional, humble, relaxed, knowledgeable… Just an ACE of a human being…. 👌👍👏
I will try this at home! It looks easy, it's pretty simple and of course delicius!
The steps in the recipe provided seem to be completely off. They don't follow what he does in the video.
Dominique is very slim after eating all these sugar, butter and cream
Looks delicious! I hope I can make it.

Well that was cool… but no I disagree, baking is VERY difficult unless you do it in a volcano!
Checkout a native Māori baking a "lava cake" for us in their volcano (geyser) in New Zealand: https://youtu.be/YdyGwjEjXdg

Sensational
Do you keep the pot in the fire while adding the gelatine and peanut butter or you remove it from the fire?
The last thing Americans need is to eat this stuff for
Breakfast like he suggested. He’s a fantastic pastry chef tho.
I'm on a diet and after watching this I have diabetes.
Made this and it came out pretty good. Have to figure out how to make sure the crust stays crunchy.
Used leftover ganache to dip strawberries in.
