Been homeless more than I have not as an adult….it's really hard. This is amazing and takes a great burden off those who do not have enough to eat, when you can't get enough calories to perform life's requirements for 16+ hours a day of being awake when homeless that's when people get sick and have no hope or happiness at all left within them.

I’ve been cooking and feeding the homeless in different stops in LA every Monday for 6 years and it’s the highlight of my week. If you have time and money to do it I highly recommend. It means the world to them.

Used to work in the food industry that donated to organizations like these. The amount of food being thrown out is astonishing, perfectly fresh produce and meat all thrown out. Atleast 5k in wasted food thrown out each night.
