I will honestly never get scammed over the phone or by text. I’m from the uk, firstly I don’t answer the phone to unsaved numbers often, when I do if they don’t have an English accent I’m hanging up cause I don’t know anyone who would need to phone me that has an accent except a scam call… there are some calls that I get from my phone provider that is legit but I haven’t got the number saved so I forget each time. It’s an English company so I expect to answer the phone and speak to someone with my accent or someone who’s lived here long enough to have perfect English with a slight accent. But no they have call legitimate call centres in India and they have them phone which means I hang up cause I immediately assume it’s a scam
