  1. I was a professional artisan baker for years. I made high-hydration sourdough with that coveted open crumb of the sort that is very hip and photogenic. I completely agree with Max about sourdough. It's awful for a sandwich.

    Get your favorite sandwich. I recommend Honey turkey, Swiss, mayo and pepper on a Kaiser or poppy roll. Get some salt and vinegar chips and throw it in the sandwich.

    Been my favorite D.I.Y. food since I was 10.
