in the netherlands we have "gehaktbal kiekeboe" (translated: meatball peekaboo)
which is basically this, but with a regular 50/50 beef/pork mix used for regular oldschool meatballs, then shape it around the egg in the same fashion but usually because the big meatbals take a bit longer to cook it's kinda hard to get the egg right without staight up killing it in the process of preparing it
it's a fickle thing to master alright as i like them runny, especially when you don't all the way deep fry them
Don't mean to be disrespectful to any countries food and I get it but I don't get it. Why bother going through all that trouble for a soft boiled egg and sausage.
Perfect … Absolutely natural genuine and a bit funny is how you come across on camera … You seem like a guy I would drink a beer with and you know what your doing as well. Dont change a thing Ed!! Just be you cause it works here. Good job I liked n subbed.✌🏾
Pro-Tip: You can create mini-cracks all over the egg and then put it again in the ice bath for another minute, it will soften the shell much more and you can peel it more safely.
The first half of the year have been tough and mostly influenced and manipulated by the fear of missing out "FOMO" pushing most investors to dumping of assets, with many achievements not met yet. The race to financial freedom, sustainability and flexibility begins right now.
funny how so many cooks and chefs nowadays never have their own ideas or inventions.. they just copy and rehash what has already been done.. make your own dish man!
Supermarket scotch eggs are rank. These look amazing. Big up. It's not pub food tho, I've never ever seen them in a pub. Also why do British people in America always sound like they're from Surrey. also shoutout to your sound editor(s) for getting the background music quiet enough not to be intrusive. you've learned! Thanks. Also, testing the temp with your lips is a classic way, but have you ever tried putting the thermometer on your balls?
I've never seen anyone season the pork with curry. My hubby had a Scottish egg in the 80's in Canada and he's been talking about it since we met.
This guy seems really cool I want him to be my friend
Too bad there is no Scotch egg on the menu at Dame!
Egg-cellent!

I NEED SCOTCH EGGS. But I'm fasting…
It’s for picnics and packed lunches really, less common in pubs but not unheard of. Often found with quail eggs too.
See if you poke a hole apparently it separates better. That's how Japanese ramen shops do it.
Hey Ed, talk like a brit you affected flake

No brasil é conhecido como bolovo, vendido nos botecos de muitas cidades
Nice guy – clearly knowledgeable too
Please, can't we put it in the oven, instead of frying.
If we can at what temperature & for how long.
Thanks in advance. 🤗
There is just something so fucking cool about this dude. Great cook and entertaining to watch
Curry'd scotch egg… Only in England would they think of shit like this
I learn a new recipe using egg

Dude looks like he rolled out of bed in the sweatshirt he slept in.
50/50 accent 😉 bring on the pierogi 🙂 Hello from Sydney – your accent could even pass as aussie .

Could everyone stop saying "like" in every sentence.
Katsu with egg in it 😋
Lmao. How imperialist. No one thinks Britain doesn’t have good food. It’s British food that sucks.
This is not the correct method. One should be drinking whiskey the entire time. That is the way.

Egg-ceptional!
Can we see more of Ed?

I learned that the egg came before the chicken
I feel like this guy might be an American guy pretending to have a British accent.

Boil them for 10 minutes, then it's for human consumption.
Dear Ed, please do a cooking class. Scotch eggs. Curry. Whatever you want. I will totally watch.
That’s how they do it at Cluckingham Palace.
lol the sheer amount of emotion in this man xD
so if you put that tester into undercooked meat, then touch it to your lip, could you get sick?
This looks more like Indian food then British food
Listen up people of the US, that is how you pronounce Worcestershire
