  1. Modern medicine uses herbs to id the chemicals and then uses those chemicals …. yes they don;t have herbs …. but the chemicals came from those herbs …. dahhhhhhhhhh

  2. My dog (50 something lb Shepard) will literally eat anything. Even pickled jalapeños.

I know, I know, not good so I might let him have a slice once every couple of weeks or so.
Anyway, luckily for me I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get him to eat it, because he surely needs something for his incessant licking and scratching, which drives me nuts.

  3. I wish that more vets were open-minded about treating our companion and working animals with milder, natural treatments. People too often want to bomb their bodies with liver-damaging medications. These animals are closer to nature than most human animals, so it makes sense to use nature and that includes giving our animals as much contact with nature as possible in our settings. thank you

  4. You can purchase empty gelatin capsules and fill them. It worked great with my cats when I had to give them something that tasted bad. I always coated the cap with an oil so it would be easy going down.

  5. I cured chronic miserable yeasty ears in my dog by giving him sardines, and he loves them! Must be the omegas that he was low on. I started by giving a bigger portion to load him up & then maintenance is smaller portions, & just once daily. Be sure they are the canned in water variety with no seasoning. Canned sardines are cheap too. I store the open can in a sealed tupperware dish in fridge to minimize smell.
