  1. For the past few years, I've used some press plates that are designed to work with a large quik grip clamp that sells for about $30. I bought mine used, but new I think they sell for around $200. I've gotten yields up to 27% with it, but having only ten degree increments kind of sucks.

  2. Of course the Nugsmasher will yeild more since you can get more pressure etc
The Hair Straighteners are a great option when vacationing etc or when you're on a budget
(I would recommend standing on it for more pressure)

  3. What kind of idiots would use a hair straightener for pressing, it is like building a new rocket in your backgarden using planks and duck tape!
when I started with rosin pressing, I looked up info on youtube, after 2 clips it was clear not to use DYI inventions, but buy a product made for pressing.
prices start at a couple of hundred dollars, there is no excuse using a hair produkt for your smoking,
damm, how broke are you, stop smoking and get a job to sustain quality smoking, are you the peeps using a hair straightener also buying the super cheep ditch weed full of seeds, that cheaper to
even if Nugsmasher prices are not direktly in your cat of pricing, amazon has tons of other brands, starting at 200
ridicilous, buy a press and stop being a cheap fucker

  4. As much as I'd love to have the nugsmasher IQ, I'd make better use of the mini tbh. I'm curious as to what my initial cost (Canadian) would be? I'm talking with the press, the bags, everything you recommend..

  5. this test is flawed most people that press with a hair straightener use a c clamp to achieve the same results as a press you cant physically put enough pressure on the straightener with just pure body weight
