I used neo on my dogs wound and it healed it. So I dunno about Vaseline. Put it on my pups rash between my her hinds legs, a couple of treatments and rash is gone.
Vaseline is made from petroleum. Even if it is "refined" I wouldn't rub petroleum into any wound. You might as well just use pharms which are all petroleum based.
I've long been suspicious of that stuff, glad to have it confirmed. My go to is plantain salve with olive oil and beeswax. Works wonders and heals wounds way faster.
Dr. Jones💌🐾, Great video always. I have use Neosporin it did heal within 2-3 day span🤔. I will do the vasline instead. Appreciate these informative videos.🌼
colloidal silver is my go to inside and out. For me to…I make my own, with 3 9-volt batteries or 27 volt transformer, 99.9% silver rods, couple alligator clips, wire, glass jar with plastic top. Look on line for instructions, super easy to make.
My husband is a pharmacist. He has said for years not to use Neomycin unless you know you got poop in the wound! He doesn’t like the stuff either! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks!
I use Neosporin all the time and I find it helps my cuts heal. I’ve used it for years. Another thing I use is vitamin E.
Ty so much for this information ❤
I have had very positive results from using eye polysporin on my dog twice. I would Def use it again.
Never heard of this before
I subscribed and never got your free book.
Thank you so much !
I use bagabom which has been around for over 100 years. It is non toxic dogs, cats can lick it. It works for humans and all animals.
I use Rawley’s ointment for everything from cows to humans 😊

Are Neosporin and Polysporin the same thing?
I see. Sounds like the extra ingredients aren't needed for our purpose. Good to know! Ty Dr. Jones🙌🏽
What a great tip – thank you! 👍
I am so happy I found your channel and am grateful you are still making new videos!
This is good to know because most of us have Neosporin in our drawer. Will use the vaseline instead. Thank you
May you thrive.
WOW!! I didn't know that. But that explains some of the problems that i have experienced over the years. Thank you for sharing❣️

Omg. I did not know this. Thank you
But Vaseline is a petroleum-based product – not good on wounds! Doc, HOW CAN YOU RECOMMEND IT? 🤮
Raw local honey is my go to for cuts and wounds.
Vaseline is made out of Mineral oil.
I use baby creams , based on plant oil.
BlessYou🤗ThankYou💕🐶😻
I love your knowledge and love for animals! Thank you for all you do!
A dermatologist told me many skin infections he treated the Pts had used neosporin first

Vaseline is a petroleum by product that is a known carcinogen…. Please don’t use this ever on your pets or yourself.
That’s terrible backwards advice. Vaseline petroleum is bad for people and pets! Neosporin doesn’t give my dog any reaction.
No Vaseline for me, or my pets!
It is a Petroleum product.
Not cool, Sir!
Cut & Sore ointment by my acupuncturist is practically magic!
What about hydrogen peroxide?
I've never heard of neosporin. Perhaps it's not available in Australia.
Can you use real 100% whipped lanolin?
