Vegan diet? I think you mean a balanced diet of meat and veggies. Vegan means no meats. You can't be seriously advocating feeding your dog a vegan diet that is extremely damaging.
I've tried homemade healthy food and my dog wouldn't touch it for some reason he doesn't like wet food of any food unless it's his occasional treat of a dog ice cream cup. He will eat a couple bites of raw spinach leafs and he loves his carrots. Lol I have a picky eater crazy dog
One of the longest living dogs in history was plantbased. The largest strongest most muscular animals on the planet are all herbivores and have the biggest canines but through marketing constant propaganda and attacking the fragile male ego so many people who have zero education in how the body works think it needs meat. Yes, dogs are true omnivores. They can survive with or without meat. Unfortunately most meat is diseased, loaded with antibiotics, puss and parasites. Meat eaters usually eat their meat on the spot uncooked, bloody and raw. They also usually focus on the organs and the intestines that's loaded with feces.
I always love your content and appreciate everything that you share with us, but I don't believe this new study about feeding dogs vegan. I think it's BoguS. Dogs and other canines are carnivores by nature. "They" are trying to get everybody (that includes humans) off of meat and animal protein and they are using a variety of methods to do that, including lying. This is common knowledge now. The only question is why and for what reason. It's nefarious.
We have Miss Molly 14 year old 100% though-rough bred Scottish mongrel – last year suffering arthritis ,she was kibble fed . Then we got a pup who is on raw meat – changed Miss Mollys diet to it too + arthritis gone !!!
Oh my goodness you make me laugh a vegan diet. I have a few animals that will partake and crunchies or greens. My matriarch that has crossed that rainbow bridge. I miss her so. If I gave her vegan food any type of vegan food first of all she would snub it off. Then she would think oh wait what is it and take it. And then proceed to shred it and then take her tongue and make sure it's all out of her mouth and out of her teeth it was hilarious. You want to talk about an anti vegan. 🤣😂☝️😄
I have an AmStaff, got her as a rescue when she was about 3,,she's 7 now. She came with all kinds of food allergies and it's been a battle for years. She's on a raw diet of mostly wild prey meats(rabbit, duck, venison etc) and some beef, and lots of probiotics to keep the yeast at a minimum. It's still a battle with the skin and ear infections, but she's SO much better than she ever was on anything else. With the increase in the cost of EVERYTHING lately(and lack of availability) it costs me $400 a month to feed her in order to keep her healthy but worth it(she weighs 100 pounds and goes thru 60+pounds of meat per month). I don't do vaxxs and neither do my dogs~!!
I LOVE THIS VET❤️ Have you thought about the vax the dogs get? Allergies are caused by vaccines.. just like people….. I know you will see this if you look. ❤️

MEAT-period, well enrichment: free vegies, fruits
All meat. Plants are unnecessary filler.
Kale can cause kidney stones. I used to cook with kale for my dog, now her urine is thick and has kidney stones and blood. I took it out of her diet.
