3. My dog ate a dozen fresh baked choc chip cookies that were cooling on a bakers rack!! I left for just 5 minutes, came back and all cookies disappeared…I knew he ate them. I immediately gave him a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide, let him out and he vomited as soon as his feet hit the ground!!! He was a full grown German shepherd at the time.

4. Olive oil has always worked on my dogs, followed by ½ cup of milk after vomiting, to detox

7. Seriously keep some hydrogen peroxide in your emergency kit. My dog grabbed and ate half a red onion and the hydrogen peroxide saved his life by making him throw it all up but it must be done soon afterwards before it leaves the stomach. Preferably immediately. I got lucky as it was my fault for leaving the onion and him alone for twenty seconds .

9. Thanks Dr Jones. My previous dog was poisoned twice in 3 years by an idiot putting out slug bait to kill badgers in a park. The dog survived both times but I am paranoid about my current two being poisoned. Thanks for the information, I will go to the pharmacy and get 3% hydrogen peroxide. 👍😎
