I really can’t think of any reason someone who is in a religious organization that supports polygamy, that they would think it’s a good and solid belief system that encourages men to take and have sex with multiple wives, breed unrealistic numbers of children they already know are going to be difficult to support in a multitude of ways.-Only for the smart ones to be this gifted in foresight
Yes children come from it, but the men don’t seem to have the time to cherish their children and care for them the way their mothers do. Are women the only ones responsible for bringing up good humans? Are women to be known as baby making machines with nothing to look forward to, but a bleak future of homemaking, cooking, cleaning, being an in home therapist/ potentially need be psych patient, etc…without ever having time to pursue something they’d like to do? Maybe they’d fancy a 5 min, uninterrupted shower when they’re still able to walk without a cane? Cause then you’ve got the multitudes of grandkids to help support.
Realistically those women don’t have the time or energy as it is always given to everyone, hardly any left for themselves by the end of each day. This distaste of mine is specifically aimed towards the mislead religious families that obviously live the way I just described.
Religion/Cult leaders are always picking bits and pieces from the Bible, or some other ancient book of the holiest to turn into undeniable doctrine of faith to fit perfectly into the mold of what they know will entice folks, yet also keep them harnessed in with mind and heart wrenching laws and practices.
All the while collecting as much currency possible from their indebted flock. Also keeping closed off to all and any other possible explanations for human existence, because apparently that leads to symptoms of; curiosity, critical thinking, free will of choice, open mindedness, etc.. My point is, don’t get upset over something and then allow it to turn into a rant such as I just did.
