Lol, I live in the NL for 5 years, and I couldn't find anything close to be dutch culinary culture, but the three things described here: stroopwaffle, croquettes and herrings (ok also stampott).
There are very good cooks and restaurants around here, but the average stuff that people cook, let's forget about it.
