Sydney did the best she could with this somewhat vague assignment. Is it an expose? It is it a hit piece? Hard to tell. Danny Lambo is a classic example of an individual lost in their own facade, hiding his true self from the world and themselves. He is no role model and a flawed character but somehow this piece feels exploitative. Vice, preying on Danny's desires for attention and validation, serve the audience the cheapest form of entertainment: punching down.
