Wow. I’ve been craving some authentic tamales since my childhood. I use to go to a food truck at a market and it was the best food I’ve ever had thin tamales full of so much flavor. The large tamales do not compare. I will forever dream of those food truck tamales lol

Never heard of using milk in masa unless they are sweet tamales- I researched and didn’t find one reference to using milk in non-sweet varieties: i.e. Pork or Chicken. Someone please educate me..
