When there was no capitalism yet, people were really good at eating species into extinction. Nowadays everybody only eats their favorite fish from around the world while the ones not as convenient are widely disregarded.
Listen to me I’m Jamaican I had this fried there in Jamaica and I can’t forget that taste I don’t like fish cuz of the bones but damn lion fish is amazing really good meat
