  1. My cat got attacked by a huge Tom. She has a big open wound. I’ve put peroxide on it and colloidal silver and honey once. Not all at once. Different times.
    She keeps licking it.
    Is she irritating it?
She doesn’t let me wrap it. It’s on her belly, right side. I tried once and she got it off in less than a minute.
    Anything else I can do?

  2. I would and did !!! my golden doodle was attached by a pit Bull, had him by the throat I could not make it let go so I jabbed my fingers in his eyes and his mouth to break his locked jaw.. while doing so he got me as well left a hole in my babies throat and ripped one of his ears almost off… emergency vet visit 2k later, still have issues with some sinus cavity issues. But, he is a live and safe… you do what you have to, he is my baby.

  3. As a former soldier Andrew never run into it unarmed your very lucky..coyotes always hunt in packs..they encircle the prey as the pride goes in to attack, I did this to save my bulldog she had already killed 5 my Male destroyed the rest but I found myself surrounded..thank God your both ok..please be careful

  4. Being in the Northwoods of WI me & my Chiweenie, Minnie, have come face-to-face with a 3ft otter, a beaver, been swooped by a Cooper Hawk 3x and a huge owl 2x. but the worse has been Foe the Doe. She literally chased us to the front door of our cabin and almost forced us to jump in the lake when Foe tried to come onto the dock. Thankfully we haven't run into the resident black bear yet. Have to Walk Tall with a Big Stick

  5. I've been taking care of a stray cat who got into a fight a week back. Got him treated for a facial abscess. The wound is healing nicely. He also has a wound on his nose and is clogged with dry blood. How can I unclog it? He's refusing to eat. Really need your help!

  6. I would do the same thing for my furbabies as I would for my two-legged babies, EVERYTHING I COULD to protect them, and I'm an old lady, and can't walk too well, but maybe I'd wrestle the offending creature to the ground enough for mine to get away.

  7. First, so glad little sweet Tula is okay, and you too. I would've reacted the exact same way screaming at the top of my lungs the whole time. I tend to react immediately when it comes to my dogs, I am also a screamer. I have frightened animals, including other dogs, into running away because I scream so loud. My youngest son will attest to my loud screaming in these situations. Also, depending on the type and size of the other animal, I will grab the closest, biggest stick or other object I can find. I'm actually a quiet, shy person. But if something is going after one of my dogs that changes in an instant.

  8. I run trail cameras so I know which predators live around me. Coyotes, bobcats, foxes…but the one animal I fear the most for my dog is a mother raccoon with babies in tow. They can and will kill dogs.

  9. I would do exactly the same. Its Instinct for me to totally protect my shihTzu , Betsy. I love her with all my heart like my now grown up children. Personally, I feel everyone should do the same . My dog protects and loves me the same. 💜🐕💜
