  1. Wish I would have know this a few years ago, or went to a vet who didn’t scoff when I said my 13 yr old Pappillion had doggy dementia. I put him down because I didn’t know how to get him to stop pooping in the living room. It didn’t help also dealing with my Dad’s dementia that was getting worse every week. Thanks for the information. I hope it saves some dogs who need their parents (and vet!) to understand.

  2. Our wonderful dog had dementia ten years ago. One thing he did was to forget how to eat. So I put his food with a bit of water into my palm and he lapped like a pup.
I did this for a few weeks and then he remembered how to eat on his own again!

  3. This couldn’t come at a better time. Although our border collie is only 11 she has been diagnosed with doggy dementia. I’ve been researching some “natural” alternatives for her. We love her so much and just want her to be ok, the worse part is her anxiety which she has never had before.
