I dont know how she smelt or sensed them (except the new balls) my dog went through the presents on Christmas morning, got one and it was 4 new balls. Funny thing is, we didnt see until she walked past and then we told her to open it. But she went back and got another present from under the tree and somehow she knew it was hers. She got all 3 by herself without us telling her to. Spoilt brat!! Haha

Sometimes I wonder🤔. However, dogs perfectly know we are a different specie. Different, not a specie they should fear or prey on. Just observe a dog's expression, the way he looks straight into your human eyes, the way they talk to us too, so different with their own specie and only addressed to man. Same with cats who remain babies in their mind and attitude with human, all their lives. Their meowings to human are so different from the sounds their make when interacting with other cats.
