I support full legalization. BUT.
If the law is 21 and up and he's 19 he has committed a crime. Probation or jail time is not too much or unnecessary. You break the law you go to jail. Plain and simple. Weed has not exception in a legal or illegal state. He broke the law.

The law was made for man to serve and protect him not man made for the law to serve and protect it. The law is not a god or some vaulted sacred cow especially those laws that harm humanity rather than care for our collective humanity. Laws can either treat us as dumb brute beasts just animals or treat all humans humanely with compassion mercy and empathy, equality and bind justice for all.
