  1. I’m so glad your teaching us this. I’m passing this to everyone on my face book page and in my email. I run a very large business. I have thousands of clients I’m sure this will be received well among 98% of all of us love an animal either cat or dog ……🙏🤙🏻🙌🏻🌟🫶🏼

  2. As somebody who has studied canine nutrigenomics I could not agree with this more that Kibbles is horrible no matter which way you look at it it is horrible get rid of it

  3. I’ve bought for my cats the “better” and more expensive kibbles to supplement canned food and I’m on my second brand of the better kibble that they won’t eat!! That’s two explanation points for two brands!

  4. Yes, I wonder how our companion animals successfully evolved alongside us before advent of pet food industry concocting the “best pet diet” in a bag?? Dubious of claims my dogs will die from just a bit of onion. When I go to veterinarian clinic display stacks of “prescription” food, it’s apparent they have vested interest, are complicit in furthering industry profits alongside there own. Much of my distrust came about after losing my little Jack Russell to renal failure 2007 from Chinese import ingredients. Thank you Dr Jones for showing how simple it is to feed our dogs healthy and safely!

  5. My cats will only eat fish. I've tried hamburger and egg, but none of them will touch it. I don't do chicken because one kitty has feline herpes and it can be a trigger food. I wish I could get them to eat something other than sardines and tuna. They get a quality kibble on the side, but I'd love to switch to fully whole foods.

  6. Well I have a dog that is very sensitive and doesn't like much. I gave kibble that he got tired of quickly and some kibble he couldn't stand. he is also not good in his coat. wet food gave him a rumbling tummy. He really liked homemade dog food, but he couldn't really handle it either. now I give him RAW food and now it goes much better, no more rumbling tummy, and he likes it!
Thanks Doctor you are the best!

  7. My Abi is a 5 pound Maltichon. She is soo very picky. I cook her beef with liver. And dehydrate gizzard and chicken feet. Can you help with what else I can do? She is skinny and her poo is black. I believe she is getting too many organ meats. I'd like her to gain a couple pounds. Help!

  8. Dr. Jones I have a problem that I am hoping you could help me with. I have two male cats one is 14 months and the other is 9 months they are neutered. They like to lick each others bums. Not a lot but probably at least once per day. I have purchased tri-worm C 4K and have given them each 1 pill. They are supposed to last 3 months but I am having to give it to them about every 5 weeks or the worms return. I have 3 litter boxes and they use whichever one they feel like. I scoop them twice a day. I tried the diatomaceous earth and it gave them very loose poops. I was giving them one teaspoon per day in their moist food. I am on disability and cannot afford vet testing and visits. Do you have any suggestions? By the way the worms are white but not segmented if that helps.
Thank you for you time. Keep these great videos coming.

  9. Thanks for this great info! I read somewhere that the longest lived dog ever was an Australian shepherd named Bluey who lived to be 29 with cowboys who tossed him kangaroo meat, raw bones and snakes for food. Fair dinkum.

  10. Dr are you saying that you add the raw food to the cooked turkey with the sweet potato and peas with the ultimate canine advance on a 2-3 times per week. I have been feeding my dog according to some of your earlier videos-cooked chix, sweet potato, chia, flax, a healthy cereal, chix broth, coconut oil. I’m thrilled you have updated your advice. Thanks sir, kind regards.

  11. After my chihuahua had to have 10 of her teeth removed due to major plack that ended up rotting them out.
I started feeding her "Fresh Pet" all the ingredients are able to sustain her and she looks so much better!
No more bloated gut that kibbles gave her and it's actually less expensive.
I make a Lentil Loaf in a meatloaf pan and put black beans yam & blueberries or what ever I have. Mash them all together add 1 egg and some Braggs Nutritional yeast 1tablespoon shape it into the pan and bake for 1hour 350. She Flips out over it!
Tea spoon of flaxseed oil too – coats so shiny 🐾 Love you Dr Jones thank you for doing the right thing 🙂👍

  12. Thanks so much for this information. My dog Rex went to the Vet for the third time for pills and powder medication for his ears and butt. I wanted to give him raw egg and meats but I was not sure about it❤❤❤

  13. New to this channel and following. What about puppies? I have a 12 wk blk GSD and would love a recipe or two to make for her. I feel confident I can choose food but not sure what additives need to be given. Thank you

  14. Animals and i dont think humans were suppose to eat grain as a foundation of diet. My 3 year old fix terrier has never eaten commercial dog food he eats raw meaty bones daily and raw meat with very low percent of vegetables for gut health just like how a wolf or lion would eat the digestive tract of its prey which is full of partially digested and fully digested grass primarily. I also make ground food he gets once a day that is a mix of chicken, pork, beef, salmon/sardines, eggs, organs including green cow tripe and a few vegs like pumpkin, beets, carrots, kelp powder. His teeth are clean snd never develop calculus or tarter and he has no skin issues or other health issues. They claim dogs also posses analyze the enzyme to break down starch that mostly only primates including humans possess from evolving along side us. I woukd say it depends on the dog becsuse my experience is if your dog is gassy when eating commercial dog food then no they dont have the amalayze or the other theory most commercial dog food is 70 % plant matter for an animal that in nature would consume mostly meat is highly problematic.

  15. Thank you HUGELY for all your knowledge, I've been feeding my doodle homemade food since she was a year old. I left her on puppy kibble til then but switched her to homemade after that. She's doing great on it and loves it. Her first year on puppy kibble she constantly had ear infections and was sick, once I switched her she's not had issues anymore at all. My vet always tells me that that's not good for her but I know better for my fur baby.

  16. Thank you, Doc! We want to feed our dogs the way you recommend so badly, but they can’t have a lot of fat. Could we use chicken breasts? Are they the protein that is lowest in fat? Thank you so much!
