  1. Every time I was sea sick and had to walk past the galley, it made me want to puke all the more. The smell of food when you’re sea sick is amplified by 100x of stench. So I ate yogurt all the time. It was smooth when I had to throw up and it didn’t taste bad either.

  2. Man, I swear. Vice and its affiliates haven't hired any charismatic, socially compatible reporters in a long while. I miss alcoholic Shane, that dude could act like a normal person and make fast friends with anybody! Even his North Korean chaperone, and even if he pissed the guy off! No matter who he was with, they'd actually be interacting in an enjoyable way to watch.

  3. Me encanta el menda "Seguro que esto es lo que comían en el siglo tal, comida marinera"… Sí, las lentejas, del mismo mar de la Puerta del Sol.
I love the fella saying "this feels like a sailor's meal from a past century",, yeah, from the Sailors at the Puerta del Sol.
Nevertheless quite nice to see how rough can be a midly agitated ship kitchen. How would it be in the middle of a raging storm…

  4. I find it interesting they cook on the sea at all. I figured it would be far easier to pack in a huge load of ready to eat meals, or bars, etc. Cooking seems out of place here.

I agree that fresh food is important, but if astronauts can do it… you can do it.
