  1. I was born in Miami and grew up in South Florida. I live in Northern Florida the past 30+ years. I definitely miss the south Florida Haitian and Cuban Foods. The wonderful combinations of items make for spectacular meals!

  2. Mad respect for how this woman handles those Scotch Bonnets with her bare hands. I made some hot sauce years ago at the restaurant I was working at for one of the waitresses brothers. He said there was no hot sauce too hot for him.

    I made a Datil pepper based sauce and threw in a bunch of Scotch Bonnet seeds…just full of the oil. Homeboy had to go home because he got a tummy ache. The waitress came in and chewed me out the next day because that sauce was so hot that when her brother woke up to pee later that night, it burned so bad that he had to get into a cold shower 😂
