  1. No, what you need a small boat float attached to the pipe that allows the pipe to sink but float. Inside the pipe, steel leaders with swivels so that different sized shot can be used, would be attached to swivels inside of the pipe.

    Small holes to allow water in to make the pipe sink slowly would also be needed.

    A 100 foot steel leader would then be attached to the pipe and connected to the spear fishermen's ankle so that the natural movement of the flipper moves the pipe making it rattle.

    Make certain to have a ten pound breakaway clevice attached to ankle for quick break awY in case a fish takes it.

    Also paint the pipe like a normal use to induce the fish. Also make the pipe jointed so that while the pipe sinks and the flipper is pulled, it looks like a fish in distress.

  2. THIS GUY HAS HUGE BALLS swimming beside sharks and whales in the middle of no where. He could literally die or sustain permanent injury every time he goes spearfishing.
