  1. Tip #3 would be great in a perfect non greedy world!
It's impossible anymore to find a vet especially emergency vet to have an honest dialogue about your dog or cat on what is or not needed… ..getting shut down when you want info on alternatives……..and then being shamed when you turn down their outrageous beefed up quotes for treatment!!!!
It's a sad sad world to be a pet owner right now and getting worse!

  2. I questioned the vet every time. Learned I had to do that with my last dog. He ended up getting cancer right after the vet gave him a three vaccines at one time. I blindly trusted my vet. Changed my dogs diet and got him off of big pharm. I was told he had no more than six months to live. He lives six years past diagnosis of anal gland cancer. He forever changed me. My baby boy live till 14 years old. My greatest teacher. I do my best not to give flea medication as well. Right now I have a female puppy. Trying to figure out what type of spay to do. Important to do your own research. Thank you for this very important message. I put all my money into my babies food. Want to prevent… 🙏💗🐾✨

  3. My cats have their kibble…but..they also have wet food….extras…are pumpkin…cheese in small amounts..eggs..sometimes lean ground beef.
I don't use flea meds….I spray the yard with beneficial nematodes..I don't have fleas here…I'm all about natural homeopathic…holistic ways to keep them healthy

  4. I asked for a holistic alternative and my vet forced steroids for my dog even though I asked for an alternate way to help her.. Was even frightened of her and had to muzzle her because he was so rough and she acted accordingly. I'm a dog groomer…. I know what my dog can handle. It was as if the vet couldn't have gotten us out of the clinic fast enough for the next client.
I have been following your channel since and you have been such a help with my dog and helping my knowledge grow.
Thank you so much for all that you do. You have been a saviour. My dog thanks you also.

  5. Concerns. Is there an alternative to heartworm medication? We feed science diet with a mix of fresh vegetables (green beans, carrots, sweet potato) and grilled chicken, which I prepare each week. KD is a Boston Terrier. She is 13

  6. Thanks for all the info you give us, extremely helpful. I would like to know your thoughts on cytopoint injections, if there's an alternative and if it may be harmful. It really does help my borelboel, but her breed is weighty, and since they charge by the pound for cytopoint, it gets pretty expensive to get her the shot sometimes once a month or every other month. She'll lick her paws till she develops cyst that get infected and rupture and bleed, we've tried diet and a few other options to prevent but cytopoint really stops it cold for a month or two, okay, thank you again 🙏

  7. I do a massive fresh veg and chicken cook day for my dog once a week, to last the week, she absolutely loves it and I feel better about the fact she is eating well, not just kibble, that’s over cooked something?!
Thank you for you guidance my friend. 😁👍

  8. Please do a video on encouraging your pet to eat more fruit and veggies. My elderly dog ate fruits and veg appropriate for dogs and loved them; but my newly adopted dog who is a year old just spits them out. Do you think he will become more familiar and eventually like them?

  9. Can you do a video on pyometra…? I really don't want to have to get my female fixed but at the same time I don't want her to get sick. They say it's caused by e coli? But is this e coli they are ingesting or is it already in their womb? I know I need to just get it done but this vet wants to charge me $1,000 to get her fixed. That's a lot of money to someone like me.

  10. My old veterinarian who is now retired used to always say she would hate it when I would come in because I was always right and what was wrong with my animal. And I would answer her by saying then why don't you test for what I think it is first and if I'm wrong then do all your other battery of tests not only are all those tests invasive to your animal and stressful but hugely expensive to you as well and all for nothing

  11. Two types of people in this world. Those that see their pets as moving stuffed animals, and those that see them as living, autonomous beings worthy of nurture, health, and respect. You are the best vet on the net, thank you for all your tips and advice

  12. Yes, I don't understand how people don't understand that they are giving their dogs insecticides. Probably because it's not worded that way on the packaging or by the vet.
