25. Honest question, asked by someone who lived abroad and whose first language isn't English: how would you live in a country for decades and not learn the language? I know the Chinese community in the US used to be very insular, but it's been decades since Chinese food became a staple for westerners. I'm not attacking the guy, just really trying to understand how it's possible to not only live but have a successful business in a place where you can't communicate efficiently.
