Will everyone in this comment section chill the eff out? That’s the beauty of cooking! Each household has their own way! If everyone just had one way of cooking adobo, the world would be hella boring. The existence of recipes on youtube would be pointless because everyone just does it the same way.
Oh, except if you’re Jamie Oliver. Your thai green curry just sucks. Start over. Lol.
My ex boyfriend used to make the chicken stew and rice OMG so delicious. After we broke up I would sometimes ask him to cook some for me lol I don't want to see you just drop it off at the door please. lol

They might use that amount of oil because they need more calories because there’s not a lot of food there? Maybe I’m wrong.
I've tried cooking this with Vice Cooking Instruction.
The food is good in the video.
The instruction is shit for the website.

As an Nigerian Ghanian i can approve of this recipe and this rice, even if it isn't cooked in the most common way, it still looks amazing.
That version of cooking could be the most traditional form of cooking oit there or the most youngest, but nonetheless i would gladly eat that rice.
Rice to mushy, that’s defo not Nigerian, more like paella, you need to go visit an see how it’s really cooked!!!

I was a bit shocked by the amount of oil but tbh you can just use less oil in each step and the recipe still works.
Made it and I’m not Nigerian but one of the best things I’ve tasted
I love west African food…anyone that's complaining on your channel can shush and stop bumping their gums bruv.
